We will continue under the name U-AccessAbility!

We are proud to announce that our employee network Network USP Inclusive will continue under a new name from December 3, 2025: U-AccessAbility.

We have worked hard over the past few months to prepare for this name change and develop a matching logo and promotional material. On December 3, International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the name change will be officially implemented in all our communication channels. We have chosen this date because it holds powerful symbolic meaning: it is a day dedicated to raising awareness about the rights of people with disabilities worldwide. This aligns perfectly with our mission to break down barriers and make the workplace more accessible for everyone.

Come and celebrate this milestone with us! 

On December 3, 4, and 9, we will be celebrating the launch of our new name at various locations at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, UMC Utrecht, and Utrecht University. During these days, we would like to talk to you about the name change, inclusion, and accessibility in the workplace. We will also be presenting our new logo and handing out gadgets! Come and learn more about the meaning behind the name and the activities of the network. You can find us on the following dates and locations:

Wednesday, December 3
UMC Utrecht, main building, Foyer ground floor (next to restaurant De Brink) from 13.30 – 16.00 p.m.

  • Between 13.30 and 14.45 p.m., the UMC Utrecht participation program will host an inspiration session on inclusive work in collaboration with Emma at Work (for UMC Utrecht employees only). 
  • Between 14.30 and 15.30 p.m., a chocolate bike will be in the Foyer on the ground floor. Come by for a free cup of hot chocolate!


Thursday, December 4 

  • Utrecht University, Administration Building (Heidelberglaan 8), entrance hall, from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. 
  • HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, Padualaan 101, entrance hall, from 12.00 p.m. to 2.15 p.m. 
  • HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, Heidelberglaan 7, entrance hall, from 2.30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.


Tuesday, December 9

  • Utrecht University, city center location, University Library (Drift 27), entrance hall, from 12.00 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. 
  • HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, Amersfoort location (De Nieuwe Poort 21), entrance hall, from 1.00 p.m. to 3.30 p.m.
