My name is Henny van der Neut (she/her, 1959, oops), core team member of the Network USP Inclusive and I have been working at the HU University of Applied Sciences (HU) for a very long time. First as a teacher and later increasingly in managerial roles. Since January 2021 I in different roles in the HU on the themes of diversity and inclusion. Accessibility and inclusion for employees and students have always held my interest; everybody should be able to work and study without any limitations and prejudice. This is why I also like to contribute to an inclusive Utrecht Science Park. I work for Human Resources (HR) of the HU, at the HU Teaching & Learning Network and am part of the core team of the network diversity & inclusion of the HU. As I value educational quality, I also work as a HU-auditor on the halfway evaluations (internal audits); in this way I get an insider look on the issues of diversity and inclusion and push it in the right direction where needed.
