Launch new Network USP Inclusive website
26 September 2023
Finally the time has come, we can proudly unveil our new website! This website fulfils our need to increase our network’s visibility and be more accessible to visitors. Visitors can adjust accessibility settings to their liking via the icon on the left side of the screen.
Explore our website
Take a look at our website and discover our new house style, view our events calendar and visit the knowledge database with event recaps, inspiration and network documents. When you click on ‘about us’ you will see profile pictures of both the core team and the ambassadors. So you know exactly who is involved with the network. Each core team member also introduces themselves to you, which you can read by clicking on the profile picture of the core team member.
What else has changed?
- Mailbox: with the arrival of our own website, we got our own mailbox. From now on, all our communication will be from this mail address. To contact us, fill out the contact form on the website or send a mail directly to info@u-accessability.nl.
- House style: we are moving away from the house style we have used so far; UU yellow, HU red and UMC black. From now on we will use a quieter style with less loud colours. Our new corporate identity is more accessible and lower on stimuli and uses the right contrast colours.
- Communicating in English: we recently started offering our communications in English. We want to make this standard from now on to be more inclusive in this as well. For example, our website is also available in English.
- Disclaimer: we have tightened up our disclaimer. We use the terms (workplace) disability and (psychological) vulnerability in our communication. Our disclaimer at the bottom of the website describes what we mean by this. Thanks to your input we have now also added ‘chronic condition’.
Word of thanks
We are very happy to now have our own website. We are very grateful to Utrecht University, Hogeschool Utrecht and UMC Utrecht for giving us the opportunity to realise this website. In addition, we are very happy that Tobias van Dorp (student open ICT, HU) designed this website as part of his training and has taken care of us from A-Z while including us in the process. He knew exactly what our needs were and advised us well. Thank you!
