Save-the-date: thematic meeting Decent Work
Researchers Joep Binkhorst and Frank Drielsma (HU University of Applied Sciences, lectorate Organizing Decent Work) will share the outcomes of their research during this interactive meeting. How can employees and managers be involved in developing tools for an inclusive workplace? Save the date and time! Everyone is welcome to attend.
To contribute to the inclusion and development opportunities of employees with a (work) limitation, varying workload and/or (psychological) vulnerability, the project Medewerkers+ was set up within Utrecht University of Applied Sciences. As part of this project, the lectorate Organizing Decent Work conducted research into the experiences of employees, managers and HR professionals. In addition, the lectorate supervised active working sessions in which concrete solutions were jointly worked on that contribute to a HU in which all employees feel welcome and valued.
During the meeting, Frank and Joep explain the outcome of the study. Among other things, they share ways to involve employees in developing measures that can contribute to a more inclusive workplace. They also discuss the role of HR and managers in this process. There will also be plenty of room to exchange experiences, so that the researchers can include your ideas and suggestions in the follow-up steps after the study.
We are hoping for a diverse group of people: experts by experience, interested parties, HR employees and managers from different locations – everyone is welcome. Together we can really make a difference.
