Join-in lunch | Week Against Loneliness

September 25 to October 1 2025 is the Week Against Loneliness. Did you know that in the Netherlands 1 in 7 people feel very lonely? Loneliness and social isolation are also common among employees and students with (workplace) disabilities or (psychological) vulnerabilities. The impact of this is extensive, especially if it persists for a long time. Loneliness causes people to participate less in society and it creates the feeling that well-being or happiness is lacking. This is why Network USP Inclusive participates in the Week Against Loneliness*.
We are organising a Join-In-Lunch on Tuesday, September 30 to bring employees (and students) in the Utrecht Science Park closer together. Will you join us? And are you bringing someone else? Meeting each other and making new connections is our main focus. Everyone is welcome, regardless of if you are experiencing loneliness or a (workplace)disability/ (psychological) vulnerability yourself. Tackling loneliness starts with making contact and connecting.
