Eva Gladdines
My name is Eva Gladdines (she/her, 1986), and I have been working at the UMC Utrecht since September 2015 on the Pathology department. I came here via Emma@work.
My work consists of supporting our staff advisor and the quality officer, these are mostly administrative tasks. This might include adding new doctors to our system so they can receive test results, recording maintenance on lab equipment/microscopes and taking minutes for our KAM-meeting (KAM stands for Quality, Health & Safety, and Environment).
In 2017 I joined the Network Participatiewet of the UMC Utrecht and almost naturally also the Network USP Inclusive since its establishment. My role in the network is mainly minute secretary and supporting event organisation.
What I like about having a network is that you can find each other quicker and can therefore exchange experiences or ask for help more easily. What I also saw when we started working with other organisations in the Utrecht Science Park, is that it may also become easier to start working somewhere else. If your current job doesn’t really fit after all, these connections can help you find out about vacancies at one of the other organisations more easily.
Members can always approach me with suggestions of how things can be improved and with pictures or videos of their pets. When I have a difficult day, videos of animals help cheer me up :).
